The excellent Calpe Miniatures as come through again. My order arrived today. This gives me enough for the lasalle core + cav support. Except for the 2 units of Landwehr cav.
One more order and I will be set for the 1815 core + cav support.
Will post updates on the painting process.

10th Infantry Regiment, 1 Silesiana
Here is my unit of Perry Plastic Prussians.
Quality wise they fit in between the Warlord games Landwehr and Calpe. You only get one command sprue and only march attack poses for the Musketeers. A bit disappointing compared to the British box set but I understand the decision to make them quick to assemble. I think I would get bored if I made an entire army from the box.
This unit actually fought in the IV corp while the rest of my force fought with I corp. I painted this unit for two reasons:
1: The Flags which came with the box were of this unit.
2: Poochie told me to.

Now I have a choice: Paint up more Perry Prussians while I wait for my Calpe order or Convert up a unit of Berg infantry.

7th Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion
Just finished this Lasalle unit. Its the first Battalion of the 7th Infantry Regiment (2 West Prussian). All I need to do to finish off the unit is a tassel top for the standard.
These figures are Calpe.
Next up, Perry Prussians!

28th Infantry Regiment test figures
I had some Victrix Plastic figures sitting around making me feel bad for not painting them so I decided to convert a couple and paint them up. Its been a while since I worked with green stuff and it shows.
These represent the 28th Infantry Regiment. The are Berg infantry who still used their French style uniforms during the Waterloo campaign. I added in the coat over the shoulder and one figure is wearing a Prussian style covered Shako.
Not sure I am sold on painting an entire unit of white.

Just finished my 2nd Landwehr unit. This is a mix of excellent Calpe figures and very average Warlord games plastic landwehr. I will in the future replace the warlord with Calpe but till then I am stuck with the boring Warlord metal command and static march attack plastics.
My blog title has the 1st Landwehr unit I have painted and its all Calpe and the figure are beautiful.
My biggest complaint with the warlord games is they suffer from blob hands syndrome and lack of crisp detail. Its not a plastic vs metal thing as the Perry plastics offer great details which hold up to my lazy paint style.
Here they are. Note no standard as the Warlord games metals have the hand which holds the flag pole filled in with metal. I need to borrow a drill to finish the unit.
